Free art is very important to the artists here in Valparaiso, nothing more so than the graffiti murals, which differ from just plain tagging. They say that home owners pay to have the murals painted to avoid the regular tagging. The taggers and graffiti artists have a mutual respect, they taggers won’t tag a graffiti mural.
