After a brutal two days of traveling, I finally made it to Asia and Cambodia specifically. It’s bloody hot here, I’m melting, literally.

The Cambodian people are very kind and gentle spirited. Siem Reap reminds me a lot of my first trip to Vietnam. I expect Cambodia will go through the explosive growth that Vietnam has as well, I hope they are able to preserve their kind spirit.

The temples are pretty magnificent over 900 years old, surviving wars with Siam (Thailand) the Chams (Vietnam) American bombing during the Vietnam war and the Khmer Rouge. There was much more Hindu influence than I expected (guess I should have researched more) many of the temples depict the Indian deities. In later years, Buddha statues were added.
